Haunted Fort returns to Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park for its 24th season—bringing new nightmares, terrifying encounters and relentless scares to one of North Dakota’s most famously haunted destinations.

For decades, visitors and staff have reported unexplained voices, shadowy figures and sightings of the mysterious woman in black. In October, the line between the fort’s haunted history and its darkest legends disappears completely.

A HISTORY THAT HAUNTS

Reports of supernatural activity have surrounded Fort Abraham Lincoln since the reconstruction of the Custer House began in 1989.

Those stories inspired the creation of Haunted Fort in 2002. What started as a local Halloween attraction has grown into one of the region’s largest and most intense haunted experiences.

Tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable. No refunds will be issued for guests who choose not to enter, leave early or are removed for violating event rules.

Haunted Fort may include:

• Loud or sudden sounds
• Tight, dark or enclosed spaces
• Uneven outdoor terrain
• Startling interactions
• Separation from your group

Attractions are not wheelchair accessible.

HEALTH AND SAFETY ADVISORY

Haunted Fort is not recommended for:

• Pregnant individuals
• Guests with heart, respiratory or seizure conditions
• Anyone using crutches or wearing a brace or cast
• Anyone who appears intoxicated
• Children under age 6

The experience is recommended for guests age 13 and older. Parents and guardians should use their own judgment.

PROHIBITED INSIDE THE ATTRACTIONS

The following are not permitted:

• Photography or video recording
• Smoking or vaping
• Food or beverages
• Weapons, drugs or alcohol
• Halloween masks or full-head coverings
• Flashlights, laser pointers or selfie sticks

BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS

Do not touch actors, props or set pieces.

Harassment, threatening behavior, disorderly conduct or failure to follow staff instructions will result in immediate removal without a refund.

PARK ENFORCEMENT

Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park staff, Haunted Fort personnel and law enforcement reserve the right to refuse admission or remove anyone who violates event rules or creates an unsafe environment.
