Shakespeare Royal Oak is Michigan's largest professional outdoor Shakespeare festival presenting Shakespeare under the stars in Starr Jaycee Park since 2001. Gates to our specially built theatre space open one hour prior to performances with General Admission seating based on your preference. Bring your own blankets or lawn chairs for the performance. Blankets are placed on the lawn close to the stage followed by low-to-the-ground lawn chairs and standard size lawn chairs. Bleacher seating is available around the perimeter of the lawn. Free Parking is available in Starr Jaycee Park just steps from the performance space.
